Getting in and Out

Find us at, Rua da Barroca 4, Lisbon, Portugal

Check-in is at 4pm and Check-out is at 11am.

You will receive a code to enter the building via email on your day of arrival. Don’t worry if you don’t have internet, we have our wifi details by the intercom at the front door.

Once in follow the ‘Check-In‘ sign to the lock-boxes to collect your room keys. Your access code will have been emailed to you. We give each guest 2 keys, we recommend keeping one in your locker for safe keeping, in case you lose one :)

Reception is open between the hours of 9am–4pm. If you need to reach us our number is +351 911551303.

When checking-out you can either drop your key off at reception, or if good-byes are too hard, you can drop your key off in the check-out box next to the lock-boxes.

Before I check-in

Before you check in please fill out the necessary passport information required by the link provided.

We have no hidden fees but it is important to know that the city of Lisbon requires tourists to pay a “Tourist Tax” of €4 per night up to a maximum of €28. A link to pay this prior to check-in will be sent to you, this has nothing to do with Friendly Hills and we receive none of the revenue.

Be mindful of other guests and keep shared spaces clean and tidy. If anything needs a little extra attention please let us know.

The 2nd floor is a quiet zone, our lovely neighbour lives there and we hope to keep all our relationships friendly. Obrigado :)

No smoking inside please, that includes your room, or leaning out the window. We like providing low-cost accommodation to our guests, so don’t be silly and end up with a huge fine.

We get it — traveling with kids is pricey, and a budget-friendly spot like ours sounds like a win. But here’s the thing: we’ve already got enough noise to deal with (no offense, city life). So, in the name of sanity and sleep, we’re an adults-only establishment. Hope you understand.
